Interview
The interview process was pretty typical. It started out with a 15 minute phone screening. After that a couple days later it was a 30 minute phone interview with another hr representative. The next week i was given the opportunity to come in for an in-person interview. They asked typical questions. Everyone was extremely nice. You had to do a sales pitc scenario. Give reasoning behind what you did. Sales experience is definately neccesary! I was told when leaving they would contact me by the end of the week. I ended up e-mailing my HR representative a week later. She took a week to get back to me and told me they were going to look for other candidates. The interview process was great until the end. Honestly i was suprised not to get an offer. They seemed pretty positive throughout the whole interview. I didn't have trouble with any of the questions, case study, they didn't express any sort of concern.

HR told me to come "dressed professionally" all the managers had shorts, T-shirts and sandals on. Dressing Professionally means something entirely different to folks at Groupon!

Question 1
Shocking bad questions for such a large organization with huge HR staff. Typical questions-how did you over come adversity. Its hard to take any manager seriously in shorts and a old t-shirt
1st it was the phone interview second an in person interview. They will either call you to come in person for the second interview or schedule a skype inter if your unable to attend.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Groupon (Scottsdale, AZ)
Interview
4 week process
I applied online through an employer referral. I was contacted the same day I applied and was asked if I would be interested in an over the phone interview. That phone interview happened one week after the initial email and was a very brief, they just asked me about previous work experience and explained the job and benefits of the job to me. It lasted about 20 minutes. Right from the phone interview they asked if I could come in for an in person interview.
I interviewed in person 2 weeks later. The interview consisted of two 30 minute interviews with a 30 minute job shadowing segment in between the interviews. The questions they asked were basic behavioral questions and my interviewers were very polite and created a non threatening environment.
