Interview
One phone screen interview followed by a virtual interview.
I had great conversations with the recruiter, however, communication with the recruiter was honestly not great outside of the interview. After both interviews I was told that I would hear back by a certain date and would not hear back for several days to over a week later. After I received my rejection email, I sent one back thanking the recruiter and asked for any feedback as I am always trying to improve and I never heard back. I totally understand that she may not have had time to respond to every candidate, however I felt as though I was highly qualified and that we had genuine conversations throughout the process and I received a lot of positive affirmation, so I would have liked a bit more of an explanation as to what I can do better in the future. As a company that prioritizes transparency, going the extra mile, and doing what's right (not easy), it was a bit of a let down for me to feel like a lot of those core values that resonated with me so much were not being upheld.
Gusto interview process was straightforward. I had an interview with the hiring manager and then an interview with a team member. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Seems like they have an awesome culture with the company/ team.
