I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hazelden Betty Ford in Apr 2022
Interview
I applied for a position that was described as "remote/home office." I was contacted to complete a phone screening, and the hiring manager stated that their team is "100% remote." She then went on to say that the position requires 50% travel with overnight stays all over the country... I was stunned. How can a position be described as remote but require in-person travel? I went back and reviewed the job description thinking I had missed something, and sure enough, a travel requirement is never mentioned anywhere in the job description. You can't describe a position as remote and then require frequent in-person travel. Also I was never contacted after the phone screening with any updates, I was just ghosted. What a waste of time.
