Initial phone screening with HR, then a virtual interview with the director of finance. The virtual interview was pretty awful. The Director of Finance spoke for the first 15 minutes about their background and provided no information about the role or the company. They then asked a series of yes or no questions about my experience, all of which could have been answered by reading my resume. They left very little time for me to ask questions, then abruptly ended the meeting. The Director of Finance seemed disinterested and distracted throughout the interview. I felt that they had already decided on a candidate and did not cancel my interview.
