The job posting was through Naukri and I had applied through the same. Initial telephonic screening was done (which included experience, career progression, role expectations, hybrid working mode, travelling to office, etc.) and then there was an assignment shared targeted to be completed in 3-6 hours on a weekend. I had submitted the assignment on the same day and after that the panel replied to schedule an interview. We had agreed upon a common time slot based on the availability however the invite was not sent. To which I had done multiple follow ups over email & SMS and after few days I got a reply from the HR stating that due to the you current location it would be difficult for us to hire you as travel time would be more. This was such a pathetic and frustrating experience that how can such a company which I was so inclined towards be unprofessional! All the efforts, time, research, etc. was a waste! They should not play such emotional games with the candidates.
