I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Horizon Media (New York, NY) in Nov 2015
Interview
Since I applied through an employee referal I was contacted I was contacted within a few days by someone in HR. The position I applied for was Assistant Brand Strategist. When I arrived for my interview a few days later I was left waiting for 30 minutes before anyone from HR came out to greet me. First they had me take a math skills quiz. Then I went in for a short 1:1 with the lady from HR. She told me then that she had other opportunities she thought I was better suited for than brand strategist. My first thought was, okay these are not the jobs I came to interview for but it could work out in my favor.... Well that was all foolish thinking. They had me there for 5 hours!! I interviewed with 13 different people on 5 separate teams for 4 different posiitons.. It's almost like they were playing a game of fit the shape into the whole and I was the shape. Very disorganized. At the end of it all they offered me a positon with the Media Buying team which is least of all what I wanted so I declined an offer. Thank god! Because now I have a bettet job with a higher starting salary :)

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Horizon Media (New York, NY)
Interview
The first interaction with employees and the recruiter were friendly. The interviewer was unfriendly and seemed to have no knowledge of my coming. I was introduced to other employees for the interview who also seemed unaware of my arrival. Basic questions only about their business. Didn't have interest in the person they were interviewing.
