I applied online. I interviewed at Horizon Media (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Interviewed for two different brand strategist position at two departments. Both feature a first-round interview and a pop-up interview with a higher executive.
The first department I interviewed for handles Disney account. Two out of three people were absent, and the only one left seems pretty frat-boy-like and snobbish, saying the f word a lot. I get it he tried to maintain it casual but the questions he asked were so not in-depth. Afterwards his boss, a senior executive came in for another round. But she only asked the same questions, showing her lack of genuine care. Overall not a good team to be in - only shallow frat-boy and sorority-girl type would fit in there well.
The second department I interviewed for was much better, very down to earth team. They showed really good vibe among themselves and asked in-depth and empathetic questions. Second round was with the VP of that department. Super nice guy, out-of-box thinker, asked me very insightful questions.

My interview process was seamless and handled professionally. The HR team was prompt in their responses and was super thorough in communicating each step of the process. This was especially helpful for a recent college graduate - they were extremely approachable and I felt well prepared.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Horizon Media (New York, NY)
Interview
The first interaction with employees and the recruiter were friendly. The interviewer was unfriendly and seemed to have no knowledge of my coming. I was introduced to other employees for the interview who also seemed unaware of my arrival. Basic questions only about their business. Didn't have interest in the person they were interviewing.
