I applied online. I interviewed at Horizon Media (New York, NY) in Jan 2025
Interview
Started off with a phone screening interview with the Talent Acquisition. She asked me some basic questions and like my background and told me more about what Horizon does. After the interview ended I was sent a written assessment and a math assessment. There were two different choices of prompts with the written assessment. The two choices of prompts to respond too were: "What excites you about the media industry and why?" and "Describe an ad that had a significant impact on you as a consumer, and why?" in 250 words. The second round of interviews I interviewed with two people on the team I was going to be on. The interview seemed to go well but I ended up not going to the next round. The Talent Acquisition person reached out to me and gave me valuable feedback as to why I wasn't moving forward with the interview process which I was glad to receive.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What has Horizon Media done recently that has excited you about advertising?
I had a phone screening, followed by back to back interviews, and then another interview with my potential team. I was thrilled when the Interview process went seemingly okay but ended up getting ghosted even after following up with recruitment. My thought is if I’m able to devote time for interviews and emails, the least they could do is provide closure. This process was a disappointing experience overall.
I had a call with the recruiter and then one interview day where I completed two back-to-back interviews. The interviews themselves were fine, the interviewers were professional, and the conversations were good. However, after that, I followed up twice with the recruiter and was ghosted. I never received any update or response, which was disappointing.
