Interview
I applied online and was contacted by the recruiter. The process was pretty flaky as they misspelled my email and I would only receive half of their communication. After an initial call with the recruiter (which was not very much professional) I was set up for a technical phone screen. The interviewer had a very high opinion of himself and I did not feel he cared to learn much about me. I was very annoyed by his attitude and by a few other things. For example, everybody in engineering (~50 people) report to the VP of Engineering, they do not have product, it is one person - that VP - defining product on an individual basis, they won't tell me how they make money and how it will grow. So before we even started the technical part of the interview I let him know I did not feel it was a good fit for me.

Interview
It is a phone interview. The interviewer asked my previous project in detail, and then asked me to solve a coding problem. This problem is not very difficult but he required me to improve the time complexity. They use coderpad, which can compile and run your code. The interviewer is nice, and the whole procedure is fast and fluent.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Houzz (Palo Alto, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
I went by onsite to have a casual chat with some engineers. I then went back for a day of onsite interviews with several engineers. I then returned a third time for a chat with HR and a senior level executive. The entire process was straight forwad and I had a good time.

Interview
An initial interview which you can choose to talk on the phone or go to Houzz office. I chose to go to their office. A recruiter first came welcoming me and showed me around their office. Another recruiter came and told me more details about Houzz. Finally I interviewed with an architect at Houzz... He is smart and asked all sorts of tech questions (not just whiteboard coding). Everyone is very kind and I think it'd be a very good place to work at.
