I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Huron Consulting Group (New York, NY) in Jan 2012
Interview
The two associates from Huron were very nice and made me very relaxed discussing my interest in Huron and my qualifications. I had a nice time speaking with them, but they can be quite selective with candidates. I would advise candidate to not be shy and act enthusiastic because Huron is big in healthcare consulting. It was a 2:1 interview that involved a case.
Everybody was really nice and tried to make the process as pleasant and stress-free as possible. Interviews were engaging and cases often felt more like collective learning/teaching moments than cutthroat evaluation.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Huron Consulting Group (New York, NY) in Sep 2018
Interview
Phone case interview with current analyst, in-person interview with multiple other candidates with a light lunch with current analysts. Then we had a math test, and started a search case using a computer, broke up into individual rooms and had consultants come to us for fit, another search case (lots of documents), and presenting the initial search case results.

Interview
Huron recruits out of colleges but I applied online. I was emailed 1.5 months later about having a phone interview. First round interview on the phone, lasted approximately 25 minutes. Asked basic resume/ behavioral questions and the other half of the interview was learning about the role, the company, expectations for travel/ when to start.
