I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Huron Consulting Group (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2012
Interview
Started with initial 30 minute interview of usual behavioral questions. Called back for second interview the next day. Second interview was more behavioral questions and case study along with simple math problem. Invited to Chicago for final round of interviews. Panel of 3 current analysts and two 45 minute interviews. I honestly thought I did very well throughout the whole process and seemed like they were very interested in me. Some of the best interviews I have ever had. When I got the rejection email, I set up a time to speak with one of the recruiters. It was a recruiter I never interacted with during the whole process which made it less credible I thought. The reasons the recruiter gave me for why I did not get an offer did not reflect upon my interviews at all and seemed totally unfair. This is exactly the type of field I want a career in and showed the passion, knowledge, and interest all through the interview process, but there must be some alternative motives in there hiring practices such as location of candidates and educational institution attended.

Interview
Very nice and straight up throughout the entire process, great people and culture. I never felt I was left in the dark at all and they were in constant communication.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Huron Consulting Group (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2022
Interview
They are super kind people; pretty much a general analyst interview with 45 min zoom calls and questions. The case interview was not too bad but did have a hard math problem at the end. However, the interviewer did a good job of helping you get through it. Just make sure you go over every single step and thought you have so they can help you out!
