I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Huron Consulting Group (Chicago, IL)
Interview
I applied online through my college after attending an information session. Both my housemate and I got first-round interviews at the local airport, where they were interviewing a lot of candidates from nearby schools. Those interviews went well, fairly standard consulting stuff, but my housemate got eliminated. I advanced to the final round in Chicago, where I was eliminated. I asked for feedback about the final round and they provided it a few days later.
The final round was super positive and friendly, and was mostly a meet-and-greet culture fit situation. Apparently I came across as too aggressive in the interviews. My first interviewer described me as a someone who could potentially rub a client the wrong way and felt I didn't make proper eye contact. He also didn't like that I described myself as intelligent. They asked if I had concerns about the job and I mentioned being nervous about the travel, which they used as another reason to eliminate me. If you make it to the final round, don't be fooled into a false sense of security, you are very much still being evaluated.

Very nice and straight up throughout the entire process, great people and culture. I never felt I was left in the dark at all and they were in constant communication.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Huron Consulting Group (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2022
Interview
They are super kind people; pretty much a general analyst interview with 45 min zoom calls and questions. The case interview was not too bad but did have a hard math problem at the end. However, the interviewer did a good job of helping you get through it. Just make sure you go over every single step and thought you have so they can help you out!
