I had 6 interviews and met with 9 team members. No offer. I applied online and was contacted about a week or two later. I had no contact with any recruiters. Each interview was between 30 min to 1 hour. Intially met with 3 people/2 meetings for a Senior Product Manager role. I was later told they gave that position to someone internal. I was then called about a Product Manager role..and met with another 6 people/4 meetings...followed up twice. Finally told they also gave the role to someone with "additional experience". Multiple people I spoke with at Hyatt during the 6 interviews admitted that their hiring process was broken. I should've listened to their warnings. While I felt the interviews went well, clearly they didn't. For a company that promotes "care", they surely don't act like it.   Why make candidates sit with 9 people, as if more interviews will aid with easier decision making? It doesn't.
