I was pleasantly surprised by their HR organization. The HR manager I worked with was super responsive and wouldn't let a week go by without at least providing me with an update on the process. I never felt like I was aimlessly waiting. A rarity these days! They were also very transparent about negotiation possibilities with compensation. I first spoke with the HR manager to discuss my background and alignment with the role. I then had two calls set up with the hiring manager. The call with HR was about an hour. I had a lot of questions about the organisation and also the Chicago lifestyle and office work environment. She was so accommodating to my questions! The call with the hiring manager was great as well. These were standard interview questions but in a somewhat casual way. Not unprofessional casual, but I didn't get the feeling that she took herself too seriously. Which I appreciated! Overall amazing experience with the Hyatt hiring process.
