I was given an interview schedule with three members of HR on it. When I arrived, the first person, who was my contact, came in for 30 minutes and really did not ask much but rather talked to me about the role. The second person apparently was no longer available so they sent another member of the team. That interview also lasted for about 30 minutes with slightly more questions. When I left my point of contact to let me know that they had some other interviews scheduled and would get back to me. They asked me to go to Oxford MA for the interview although the position was to be in Marlborough. While Oxford is not exactly nearby I decided it was worth the trip. Given that they asked me to make this trip you would have thought they would have at least gotten back to me with the outcome of the interview. Once I left that office I never heard another word. No “thanks but no thanks", no "we enjoyed meeting you but you are not a great fit” nothing! For a company to ask me to take time off and make the trip to interview and then not have the courtesy to get back to me tells me everything I need to know about IPD Photonics.
