I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Des Plaines, IL) in Mar 2012
Interview
Hiring process started with an evening phone call that went extremely well. I spoke with the Insight Global representative for over an hour. This led to a series of calls trying to coordinate interviews with the client - a process that was long and a bit frustrating, but mostly due to the client. It is good that the phone process went well, because the Insight Global experience at their office was bizzare. There is no receptionist, just a very plain room with a desk and a phone at one edge, a few lobby chairs, and doors in each direction. Upon picking up the phone and dialing the extension, someone whisks out from behind a closed door and places you into a small huddle room to await your representative. A couple of people are ushered in and they give an impression of a frantic pace that seemed staged. I found this experience rather funny.

I interviewed at Insight Global (San Jose, CA)
Interview
The first step in the process was the recruiter call which lasted about 15 minutes, then had the hiring manager call, then negotiated back through the recruiter for next steps and feedback.
Started with a basic recruiter call to go over my background. The first round was meant to be a one on one for a general product manager role. Instead I got pulled into a panel interview and they interviewed me for a different position. I didn't feel prepared and it felt like the interview was conducted in bad faith.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Insight Global in Oct 2024
Interview
contract role 2 rounds 30 min interview -3 person panel each round, second round was hiring manager and Product team. Hiring manager stated during the interview the interview was going well no offer.
