I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Tysons Corner) in Jul 2015
Interview
Phone inter view was very brief. Put me on hold several times to check the status of my security clearance. Basic questions were asked, clearly the recruiter was not a technical person nor had any clue about what he was talking about.
After the interview he called all of my referances and even visited my work place. Which is a little bizzare and borderline unproffesional.
He seemed on fire to get new people to come over. After the in person interview I never recieved a email or phone call from them. I did send some follow up emails to the recruiter, which recieved no response.
Overall the interview process was pathetic and the worst I have been involved with. Proffesional courtesy would be to return a email. Recuriters should be more well versed on the positions that they are trying to fill. I was told that this is the 2nd largest IT firm in the US, however after this process I find it hard to believe.
I would keep looking and not waste your time.

Security clearance status was the biggest question, when I graducated from college and what degree path, experience based questions from data on resume.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Insight Global (Austin, TX) in May 2026
Interview
I was contacted by insight global through my linkedin account.
When I was called about the position they asked a few questions on my experience and whether I had a security clearance and a security+ certification which I have. The interviewer who called me said , if you don't hear back from me in two days call me back. Well , I called back , no answer crickets immediately ghosted. I don't know what's wrong with this organization. As many of these contract , companies are doing the same thing , making contact and not following up. Usually when I apply to an insight global position.I get it automated email back saying you didn't make the cut.But this person actually called. Don't do business with these people.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Insight Global
Interview
The recruiters and the manager were very straight forward. They ask you your expectations and tell you the reality to see if its agreeable with you. For the most part they are very honest about things, it's more like you need to bring up specific things to them for them to remember it or if it wasnt necessarily apart of their script - which for what i saw, was not malicious
