I was contacted by Insight Global after they found my resume on online. They are a staffing firm and therefor wanted me to come in for a preliminary interview before they recommended me to the company that would be employing me. The recruiter that I met for the interview was not very knowledgable about the company or position I would be interviewing for. It seemed, sadly, like other people have posted that she just wanted to see what I looked like and if I had any interpersonal skills. Luckily another women who worked closer with the company I'd actually be employed with was available to answer my questions (and I had a lot). They were nice but were very concerned with who else I was interviewing if and what the pay they'd be offering me was.
