They want to know about your personality in order to see if you would be comfortable in the work environment. Also, they want to see how you would react during certain situations. Even if you do not have any retail experience, they are able to determine whether you fit the position and are more than willing to work with you to teach you all the ins and outs of retail. I felt very at ease during the interview and was definitely able to just be myself.

Interview
I applied online, then I called the store and notified them that I had just applied. They pulled my application and sent me an interview with store manager. Interview lasted about 15 minutes, no additional interviews.
At least for the holiday season, they contact you in the fall to begin the interview process. Pretty straightforward questions. I met with 2 of the managers. Company gets back to you within a couple of weeks.
