recuriters should stick to the candidate profile rather than beating around the bush
The best part about telephonic interviews is that you cant see the person so you cant judge whether the person is nervous or confident. recruiter must ask about the behavioural aspects the skill sets and so on.

Virtual internship was offered due to COVID-19 pandemic. The office was in Kolkata and it experienced some cyclones during that period as well. So all this resulted into minimal communication, mostly clerical work, and it took me almost 3-4 months just to receive my internship certificate.
