My first interview was botched because the interviewer was sick. Two engineers took his place in the meeting that seemed less than interested in my application. We never even discussed the role I applied for as they mentioned other roles that would be more suited for my skill set. I was scheduled a follow up interview to discuss the other roles. I was told by the second interviewer that she was not aware of the position the engineers mentioned, that she would look into it. Finally, I was told the position had already been filled (which was never posted online - I looked multiple times) and that I was not entitled to any special treatment in the hiring process - I never applied so I cant be considered for the position.
