The first stages were smooth: an initial phone call, a conversation with the hiring manager, then a home assignment I spent several hours on. I was invited to the office and the meeting went well. I got positive feedback on the home task, after which we moved into a live debugging session on a Next.js app. The interviewers explicitly confirmed that I solved all the problems, and I left feeling genuinely optimistic. Then complete silence. After a week with no update, HR stopped replying to my emails. Eventually, a generic rejection arrived with no information about the decision. I followed up once more, simply asking for feedback so I could improve - that message was ignored as well. The technical bar and the interviewers themselves were fine. What lets the whole process down is how candidates are treated at the end: ghosting after a full on-site loop and refusing to share any feedback is not what you'd expect from a company at this stage. Worth knowing before you invest the time.
