I first met with some Lowe's representatives at a jobs fair for veterans. They recommended that I apply online, then I had to complete 2 online questionnaires. One of the online questionnaires was timed and I believe its main purpose was to see how you perform under pressure since there were too many questions to complete in the time limit (I was going as fast as I could as well). After that, there was a phone screen and then an on site interview.

Question 1
It's difficult for me to remember any difficult questions and I believe this is because they were all standard behavioral questions that you would expect. The one thing that did somewhat throw me off guard was that the interviewer began in an informal/conversational manner and then began with the scripted interview questions. Everything was standard.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (West Hills, CA) in Sep 2017
Interview
Did a walk in interview original for outdoor lawn and garden sales rep. I was offered the telephone operator position and took it. It was a quick interview and I was hired on the spot. The room was full of people waiting to be interviewed and there was no privacy during any point of the interview process
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Albuquerque, NM) in Jan 2017

First they had a phone interview where they asked basic interview questions, then I was invited to a face to face interview where we discussed specific situations in the past when dealing in customer service.

The entire process took about a month. I filled out the application, got an interview 2 weeks later. After the interview got an offer about 2 weeks later. The entire interview was very relaxed.
