I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Memphis, TN) in Sep 2022
Interview
The beginning part w/the bot was much smoother than the actual interview. After doing the online part I scheduled an in-person interview. I showed up a few minutes early and was directed to the training room in the back. My interview was at 9. At 9:15 the person interviewing me still hadn't come back there. I was thinking I might leave, but stayed just to see what the guy was like, because I was curious what kind of manager would be so unprofessional. Around 3 minutes later he came in and said I could sit down if I wanted, then went to the computer that was behind this counter. He was back there SEVEN MINUTES, without a word to me.
When he started the interview, there was no, "I am so sorry about that! Crazy morning!"--nothing. A couple sentences again, his phone was ringing and it was a customer who was calling about an appliance delivery. He got up and went to the bank of computers against the wall and helped her out. I get it--customers are important. The actual interview went ok once it got going, but I asked a question once and he had this very intense eye contact and started talking about the "needs of the store". I didn't really ask anything else.
The whole vibe was so weird. I ended up taking a job at Whole Foods even though the pay was lower--I figured this was him at his best behavior and I wasn't an employee. What in the WORLD would it be like once he was my boss???? No thanks.

Very easy got hired on the spot. Very friendly interviewer and everyone was happy to help. Only complaint was that I had called in early letting them know I was coming and I still had to wait for a manager to show up, was waiting for like 30 minutes.

Interview was quick. They were nice and outlined the next steps clearly. The downside was they said they'd call me either way ( if I did/n't get the jbob ] and they never did.
