I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Marks & Spencer (Bristol, England) in Aug 2016
Interview
First you fill out a personality questionnaire and then if you pass that you fill out a scenario questionnaire which has animations and such. If you have succeeded in the scenario questionnaire they will email you pretty much immediately (that was the case for me anyways) to tell you to book an interview. I booked my interview for four days later. At the interview I had to act out a role play where I was given information about the scenario and items. Your employer leaves the room for five minutes (she gave me longer) to let you read the cards and info. You also have rough paper to make any notes on. You have to try and upsell a bit but the employer really helps with us and asks question to allow you to upsell. Try to emphasize the offers you are given (I had women's business shirts, buy 1 get the second half price). If you pass this stage you then have a short interview with the line manager. She seemed busy and tried to do the interview quite quickly. It was easier than I thought but maybe because she was in a rush she missed some questions. Or maybe because it was a temp job. They then told me I had gotten the job and I had to fill in some forms etc. It was quite easy and they did not even look at my CV.

Interview
Initially went and the last candidate overran (i waited for 40 minutes extra) so my interview got moved to next week. Original interviewer wasn't available so a colleague performed it. They could not find the interview sheet so had to come up with questions on the spot and get my details again. I was a bit annoyed but I think the interview was okay.
