Arrived on time, was greeted by two members of staff who were helpful. I was given some flash cards to read for the role play section where the scenario was "the shop is shutting in 15 minutes and you can see a customer with a long shopping list struggling to find what she's looking for". It was about different types of ham, wine and desert. Found this section intimidating but not overly difficult. One M&S worker sits in the corner and scribes. They told me straight afterwards if I had passed, which I did. Soon after, a manager came and asked me questions like "why do you want to work for M&S?" and "name a time when it's been important you made other people be in agreement with you?" Successfully answered these questions and accepted job offer. Overall easy, laid back and casual interview
