I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Marks & Spencer (London, England)
Interview
Online application and interview done within a week. Interview was organised immediately after filling out the online application, which I was aquite surprised at.
I went to the interview, 15mins early, and was sat in the breakroom. Was a little awkward, but I sat there smiling anyways. I then was taken through to another room and the lady started asking about me. She explained the process, and then left for 10mins to let me prep for the roleplay.
The roleplay was fun, I didn't think it went that well (as I wrote on the self assessment form), but the lady said it was great, which was nice. So I passed.
The chat we had in the beginning took up so much time we didn't have any time to talk after that. So we started filling out forms and she told me of the other interviewee they were having in that day competing for the only vacancy in the store.
4 days later I got an email saying that I hadn't got that vacancy, but was put on hold for others.

Interview
Initially went and the last candidate overran (i waited for 40 minutes extra) so my interview got moved to next week. Original interviewer wasn't available so a colleague performed it. They could not find the interview sheet so had to come up with questions on the spot and get my details again. I was a bit annoyed but I think the interview was okay.
