Even though I had already proven that I could work for the company, and even though I'd already proven that I could sell stuff, I was still forced. I to through a pointless roleplay demonstrating that I could upsell crap that the customer didn't really want. I was told that I'd trained in makeup application by industry professionals (I wasn't), that I'd learn makeup techniques to make anyone look good (also nope) and that I should know about current makeup trends (I very much did, they did not, and my knowledge and expertise was totally wasted)
