I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Marks & Spencer (Birmingham, England) in Nov 2016
Interview
Applied online, there were questionnaire and interactive tests to complete. I was told straight away I was successful and then given an interview slot to choose from. Interview was split into two parts, the role play and competency questions. Role play scenario changes time to time. I was given the role of a customer assistant and my assessor played the role of a customer. She came in asking for a child tankini that her daughter liked and all her friends had and therefore she must have it, was throwing tantrums and so the customer needed that particular item in time for their holidays. Almost every time in role plays the item would be out of stock and you would have to call up other stores to see if they have it, if not apologise, offer similar alternatives and try to upsell.

I interviewed at Marks & Spencer (Milton Keynes, England)
Interview
Initially went and the last candidate overran (i waited for 40 minutes extra) so my interview got moved to next week. Original interviewer wasn't available so a colleague performed it. They could not find the interview sheet so had to come up with questions on the spot and get my details again. I was a bit annoyed but I think the interview was okay.
