Common activities include delivering a short product pitch, suggesting improvements for the store, or completing a shop-floor task such as arranging stock. These tasks are designed to test problem-solving ability, initiative, and customer focus. After the practical stage, candidates usually attend a one-to-one or panel interview with the Operations Manager or Store Manager. The interview focuses on availability, motivation to work for M&S, teamwork, communication, and handling pressure. Candidates are also asked situational and competency-based questions, such as how they would deal with a challenging customer or balance multiple priorities.

It was a great experience, it was a call interview on the phone and very basic questions were asked. Timings at which i am flexible and other work related stuff were discussed. Overall it was a great expirence.
