firstly you need to go through an on-line questionnaire which assesses your behaviours in the work place, nothing too difficult but you need to pass this for you to apply for positions. You can then start the application process on-line which in total takes about 30 minutes. you will hear back via email saying if you meet the availability requirements and if your personality is suited for the job. Don't worry if you are declined because I got rejected 6 times before I was contacted via phone call arranging an in-store interview. I had 5 days to prepare for my interview and so went on-line to see what questions i may be asked. The majority that were asked I had an answer prepared for and so I was very confident with my answers. It took place in the McDonalds restaurant which I applied for in the back office. I was offered a drink of my choice while I waited which made me feel less nervous. The manager that interviewed me was the same person who spoke to me over the phone, she was really lovely and you could tell she cared about you. After the interview was done she saw me out, we shook hands and she told me she would get back to me within 48 hours which she did. I received a phone call telling me I had been successful and my induction day was arranged, overall my experience was very smooth and i'd recommend applying for a job within McDonalds.
