Interview process took about 2 months
First was a phone screening with HR. Unfortunately it was hard to schedule as the HR contact did not call the first few times we had scheduled and was hard to contact.
Second interview was a phone interview with the hiring manager. Very friendly, informative, and relaxed phone interview mostly focused on experiences
Third was with various performance analysts via Zoom. All the analysts were very knowledgeable about the firm and position, and eager to share their experiences. At the end, you complete some CFA style and GMAT style questions.
4th interview was again via zoom (remote due to COVID) and I met with consultants and some of the company management.
Everyone was very easy to speak to, and you definitely can tell that Meketa has a good company culture. Talked a bit about the company, new systems implemented, my experiences, Why Meketa, some behavioral based questions, and some questions and conversations related to equity markets and report running.
Only issue was how difficult it was to schedule with HR, as they either had to reschedule calls or interviews, or even missed some of the interviews.

Question 1
Tell me about your current work experience?
What kind of reporting do you do at your current job?
Why Meketa?
I went through a 4-hour interview process, meeting with several team members back-to-back. Unfortunately, most of them asked nearly identical questions, just phrased differently. I also completed a few short assessments during the session. Despite being assured I would receive a follow-up regardless of the outcome, I never heard back from the recruiter. The lack of communication was highly unprofessional and left a negative impression. In hindsight, the entire process felt like a waste of time. I strongly recommend doing thorough research before committing to an interview with this company.

Question 1
Tell us about a time you faced a challenge at work and how you handled it?
4 hour long superday, 6 different interviews and an assessment on math and investments. Pretty much all behavioral, had questions like "what is a mutual fund," or "what's your market outlook"
I applied online. I interviewed at Meketa in Nov 2024
Interview
The interview process for the Performance Analyst position at Meketa Investment Group was an exhausting and poorly managed ordeal. I was required to come into the office for an in-person interview, only to find that most of the people I spoke with were on Zoom anyway—completely unnecessary and a total waste of time. On top of that, I had to meet with eight different people, many of whom asked the same repetitive and uninspired questions. If that wasn’t enough, they made me complete two separate assessments after all of that. The entire process was inefficient, excessive, and frankly disrespectful of my time, leaving me with a very negative impression of the company overall.
