Meta Product Specialist interview questions

First round was a Skype interview. They asked very few behavioral questions and asks mostly hypothetical questions that were fairly similar to a case question but it was all qualitative and less intense. Overall I thought I did really well in the interview but was not extended an offer for next round. Probably more of a case of not being what they needed at the time.

Interview process took 2+ months from initial phone call with recruiter to finally getting an offer. - Recruiter Phone Screen: Go through all the basics, understand why you want to work for Facebook and potentially go through some other positions that may suit you. In the end, you agree on the position you want to pursue and then learn about next steps. - Phone Call with Team Member: Spoke with someone in the same role I was pursuing. This was about 2 weeks after the phone call with the recruiter. - Onsite Interview: Went to FB HQ for 4 meetings (30 min each) with different team members and manager. This goes by quick. - Hiring Manager Video Call: Two weeks after onsite, I get notified that the team wants to move forward and just need to speak with the hiring manager. - Pre-Offer Notice and Reference Check: Couple days after my phone call with the hiring manager, I get a call from the recruiter letting me know that they plan on offering on the condition that my references have been checked. - Offer: This was a week and half after initial contact in regards to references. The offer is pretty formulaic and from what I was offered, FB does make an effort to take care of their employees they want. I couldn't be happier! The interview process is very fair at Facebook and they are pretty organized in setting up interviews and give you details on how to prepare for them. There are no trick questions to worry about but every question is designed to test how you think.
