This is about the application only. The application process is a total joke. They give you two very long personality and IQ tests. Neither test has anything to do with working at an arts and craft store. For example, they ask you “what do you call a grassy field with a few trees.” And your choices are not the actual word but only the first letter of the word. The correct answer for this question was the letter S. S for Savanna, A word that 99% of the population has no idea what it means. Or on the math test they give you a sequence of numbers and you have to tell them what the next number is. Or what is 1/8/.3=? If you don’t value your time I strongly encourage you to apply to work at Michael’s since you have plenty of time to waste!!!

Very basic process when it comes to the hiring process. Step one recruiter and a phone screen. Step two was with the District Manager with store visit,
Step 3 offer. Total process was 2 weeks.

It was very quick, and had several portions to the interview including an amplitude test. Met with the district supervisor for a store visit.Not sure what other information they wanted.. Only received a generated email with the reply. I imagine they continued with other applicants within the company
