Interview
They have this little sheet that they ask questions off of most of it was typical but the person interviewing me was extremely nosy and liked putting people on the spot.
I came on time for my interview but the person they had lined up before me was late (wandering around the store for 40 minutes and didn't tell anybody he was there to be interviewed) so I had to go wait around for 20 minutes so he could have his interview first which really made me feel like not even coming back for my interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Her:"Oh why can't you work Sundays?"
Me: "I go to church"
Her: "Oh! what religion are you?" (YOU DON'T ASK PEOPLE THAT)
Me: ".....I'm a Jehovah's Witness"
Her: "I have a friend who's a Jehovah!" (If she legitimately had a friend who was in my religion she would know that is an ignorant thing to say)
Me: "Oh.. cool"
Her: "So since you're "one of them" can you still touch our seasonal stuff since it'll be Christmas, Halloween and Easter?"
Me: "Yeah, I have no problem with those holidays, I just don't celebrate them".
Her: "Oh okay then"
Easy and quick, pretty laid back process. It's an initial phone call to screen/schedule an in person interview and then the in person interview lasted about 15 minutes. Pretty conversational and standard questions.
Fast. Very friendly. Questionnaire!!!! But process goes quick. Manager is friendly and interview went fine. Super friendly conversation. Seasonal is easier to enter. After season is over it is easy to stay as a permanent employee.
