First interview was great. Went deep into tech and delivery expertise. Second interview is where it all fell apart. For a Director level position, the interview was set for just 30 minutes. Add to that, interviewer was very casual. Assumed my place of origin and started talking in native language. Started discussing benefits and execution culture at Michaels. Spent more than 15 min out of 30 talking about Michaels. For 3 weeks I didn't hear anything. Then came the workday email. It seemed like the result was a foregone conclusion even before the interview. A waste of time for all in my view.
