I submitted an application, resume, and cover letter online via a job search website. I was called within a week for an interview. I was interviewed by the VP of HR and the VP of the Loan department. The interview questions were fairly standard. They didn't ask anything out of left field, and I felt that I provided appropriate answers. I received my no-offer email within a couple days, which leads me to believe they probably had already chosen a candidate and only went forward with my interview because it had been scheduled the previous week.
