I drove 4 hours for an interview at 9:30 am. I was left sitting for 25 mintues before anyone saw me. I was interviewed by two people who would have been my managers and then by 3 people who would have been my coworkers. Almost immediately into the interview, I could tell that they didn't see me as even a potential candidate. After the interviews concluded, I was shown around the building to disguise the fact that these unprofessional people making hiring decisions didn't have the decency to save me an 8-hour round trip drive. A few weeks later, I checked up with HR out of common courtesy to see if they had officially decided to not hire me. They told me they were still making a decision. 2 weeks later, I asked again. I got the same response. They told me they would get back to me as soon as they had made a hiring decision. That was in June. It is now October and I have been working for another, actually professional company for two months. I am disgusted that I thought interviewing there was a good decision. Complete waste of time. Incredibly unprofessional hiring process.
