By far the most disrespectful interviewing process I ever had. I was contacted by the recruiter and asked to complete a technical assessment before scheduling the first round call. The assessment was a complete project; including algorithm design, coding, documenting, plotting graphs, interpreting the results, and writing a summary report. With that project, they were requesting 8 hours of my time and at the end the work took quite longer than that. But I was really satisfied with what I submitted. I did not get any confirmation e-mail or a decision e-mail. I sent two follow-up e-mails; both to the recruiter and the hiring manager, with whom I was told I could contact during the project. But I was totally ghosted. I think it is unacceptable to treat the candidates this way.

I had a similar interview process as the previous interview reported on Glassdoor for the Computational Scientist position. By far the most unprofessional and disrespectful interview process I've been through. I spoke with the hiring manager and they sent me an 8 hour coding assignment. The recruiter or the HM did not email back an acknowledgement of receipt for the assignment. My follow-up emails were also disregarded by both of them. I now see the recruiter post the same job on LinkedIn a few weeks after my interview. One way to look at it is to just count my lucky stars and move on for not working at such a terrible workplace.
I'm also now wondering if the job posting is just a front to show fake growth at the company, Myriad has a terrible history regarding hoarding genetic data and trying to patent natural products and this experience did little to prove to me that things have changed at the company, Do avoid the company, unless the job market is bad like right now.

Interview
Interviewed with the hiring manager, it went very well, we had a great conversation. She asked me to complete a tech screen assignment. The assignment was expected to take about 8 hours of time to complete, I spent about that much time. After submitting it, I was ghosted. After several weeks and two follow up emails, and letting them know I had another job offer, I got a generic rejection email. I asked for feedback on the assignment, and was ghosted again.
