      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Myriad Genetics in Jun 2021

      Interview

Phone screen with hiring manager, then a take-home technical screen, then an interview with 1-on-1's with 6 people. At least one behavioral interview and the rest were technical interviews that asked about technical experience (data analysis, lab work, etc). Overall a pleasant experience!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Describe a time when you had to help someone troubleshoot an experiment. Some interviews presented problems to answer/work through on the spot.

      Scientist Interview

      Mar 2, 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Salt Lake City, UT
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Myriad Genetics (Salt Lake City, UT) in Jan 2019

      Interview

The interview process took place over three stages. First, I met with the hiring manager for coffee and a brief informational discussion. Next, I was invited to Myriad to perform a handful of job-related skills tests and a more in-depth interview with the hiring manager. Finally, I had a full-day interview and met with most members of the team I would be working with. The interview was thorough and intensive, but not atypical for comparable positions at other companies.
