Interview
I sat down with the hiring manager and went over key points on my resume. The hiring manager then proceeded to explain to me the expectations of the job and what the job entails. I was then asked some questions about my education and skills that would make me qualified for the job. I was also asked why I wanted to work at NeoGenomics and how I heard about the position. At the end of the interview I was told I would be contacted in regard to the position once a decision was made. The hiring manager was nice enough to walk me out of the building and was giving me a small tour on the way out. The manager seemed very proud of where he worked and the environment was very professional.

Interview
The entire process took about 1.5 weeks. I applied through the company website and within a day or two I received an e-mail from HR to set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. I interviewed with two hiring managers belonging to different departments on a Thursday. The interview was much more enjoyable than I was expecting; it was never a one-sided conversation and the hiring managers were very friendly and informative. The following Monday I received a phone call with an offer. This hiring process has been the most professional and the quickest I have ever experienced. I am looking forward to joining the team.
