Interview
I was emailed by a recruiter telling me to call and set up an interview. I then contacted her and set up an interview for a couple of days later. This was a phone interview. I interviewed with the hiring manager and a charge nurse on the unit. It was very professional and the questions were fair and appropriate. I was given details about the position and also was told when I could expect to hear back. It took a little longer than I was told to hear back from the recruiter regarding if I got hired or not. That was only flaw of the interview - mainly due to my own impatience!

Many time hiring managers do not give equal or fair opportunities especially regarding previous experience requirement to more desirable positions. My experience is in acute care setting for many year on a very demanding hospital floor. They would tell me my interview was great, they like me and will follow up, then I get an email saying they found someone more qualified. Then I found out that someone worked same floor as I am and did not have previous experience neither in the job applied for. If they already has a favorite in mind then why waste my time to come in for interview.
