Lengthy, disappointing, and lacked transparency. I applied in February 2018, but wasn't called for a phone screen until mid April 2018, with an in person interview the next week. I emailed the recruiter the week after my in person interview to follow up, and was told the process was moving slowly, but I would be contacted as soon as a decision was made. It's now the end of May 2018, and the position is still open on their career site. I didn't want to assume that I was no longer being considered for the position because of how much time passed from my application date until my phone screen, nearly 8 weeks. I contacted the recruiter to confirm I was still being considered, and after 3 emails being exchanged, only then was I told my salary requirement was out of range for the position; which I provided prior to ever receiving a phone screen. Why would I have not been told from the very beginning that my salary requirement was not in range for the position? Instead, I had a phone screen, an in person interview, and after 6 more weeks, exchanged several emails before ever being told. I am extremely disappointed in the manner of which my application was handled, and the lack of clear communication. I feel as if I was strung along for weeks all with the hope of an opportunity to work for NWFCU.
