I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at P.F. Chang's (Palo Alto, CA) in Mar 2011
Interview
Went in after seeing an ad posting on Craigslist that this location was hiring. Filled out an application, and dd a meet-and-greet with the shift manager there. She scheduled an appointment a few days later to come back and meet with another manager. When I came back for the next appointment, the manager I'd been scheduled with wasn't in, so I met with someone else. The questions he asked were rather detailed, things like, "When was a time that you went above and beyond for a customer". He also asked about my personal grooming habits, which I found a little odd since I'm definitely a well groomed lady, but I went with it. He asked how I worked in a team setting, and seemed to stress the fact that this was a happy, fun atmosphere. All in all, I felt like my interviewer was friendly and that it went well. He then scheduled me for another interview the next week.

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at P.F. Chang's (Sunrise, FL) in Oct 2015
Interview
The interview process was so quick it blew me away! I was applying for server jobs EVERYWHERE that had decent menu prices. I walked in, got interviewed by 3 managers, and then hired on the spot. Was told to come in the next week to fill out paperwork and then a few days later to star training. The managers were all young and I didn't feel the need to be the "perfect professional interview girl." I relaxed and we joked a bit. I think connecting with the managers is part of the job and quality they look for (if you can star a fun conversation to where he forgets it's even an interview, that'll show you're a good people person).
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at P.F. Chang's (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2015
Interview
Went in for a interview which was 15 minutes, asked about work background and availability. Then talked to scheduling manager and asked similar questions and more about availibility and got hired on the spot. Manager was very nice and wanted me to smile more although i was hired. Smiling is very important and confidence.
