The interview was Very quick and easy. They asked Typical questions for hospitality businesses. The employer who interviewed me was very kind and inviting and did not make the process intimidating at all.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2013
Interview
One interview inside the cafe. Very conversational. Don't be stressed out. You talk about any prior experience you might have that is realteable. They want to know how you would handle customer conflicts. If you work in the kitchen they want to know if you would follow portion rules, cleanliness standards, etc.
Asked questions regarding food safety and why I wanted the job , also discussed how my schedule would look if I were to get the job. I was then told I would be given a call regarding the decision whether I got the job or not
Great process very easy and they really try and fast track the hiring process. It is usually with a couple of the managers who will be overseeing your day to day.
