I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Bolingbrook, IL) in Jun 2015
Interview
I sent in an application and a couple weeks later they called me to schedule an interview. My interview was at 10:30, I was there at 10:20-ish. I told someone at the cashier that I was there for an interview, and she introduced herself and said to seat myself while she went to go get my interview. I waited for about 5 minutes, and she came and sat herself down and introduced herself again. The interview was very friendly and I was nervous, yet comfortable. She asked me about my availability and asked me what it was like volunteering as a cashier at my local hospital. She then asked basic interview questions, why do you want to work here, etc, etc. She also asked if I would prefer to work as a cashier/customer service or a barista/server. I said cashier because of my experience. She then ended the interview by saying she had a lot more interview to go through and that she would contact me if she was interested. That was 11 days ago. I sent an email 9 days ago, and she has yet to respond. Pretty sure I didn't get the job and I thought it was rude that no one tried to contact me telling me the job was filled.
