It was a thorough three-step interview process. The first step was a short call asking a why I chose Paycom, and they offered me the opportunity to share some of my background. The second step was an hour-long zoom interview where more insight was provided from both myself and my interviewer about how we might be well suited for one another. I was asked about my experience and how I might apply it to certain scenarios. There was plenty of time left in this interview for questions. The third and final interview was also one hour and involved two interviewers who were able to describe more specific details of the position (ie. what the day-to-day looks like, what responsibilities the position will have, what challenges a person in the position might face). Many questions were asked about my past experiences and thoughts related to the role and it’s responsibilities. Shortly afterward, I received an offer letter and a request for a list of references and permission to perform a background check.
