I applied online. I interviewed at Penske Truck Leasing (Denver, CO) in May 2019
Interview
Should not have ignored the warning signs: both managers called one hour late to second interview and this would prove to be normal as many meetings would be postponed given how busy managers were. Oftentimes, meetings were missed as a result of heavy call volume or customer foot traffic.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There were zero behavioral type questions, which I have only experienced in other interviews with larger companies. The interview was by phone and focused more on letting me talk about my previous work experience as it would relate to the transportation industry. In my opinion, Penske was/is looking for quantity not quality of employees as there seemed to be shortage of staff while backfilling for high turnover at each branch location.
I interviewed at Penske Truck Leasing (Coppell, TX)
Interview
First was a phone interview, then a panel interview with multiple leads at the location. Overall was good but I didn’t end up moving forward with the company. They said if I was willing to relocate I could interview there.
I interviewed at Penske Truck Leasing (Alexandria, VA)
Interview
The interview process was relatively easy. Let you talk with people who actually work in the position beforehand as well which was nice. After that I talked with the manager and a manager above them.
I interviewed at Penske Truck Leasing (Montebello, CA)
Interview
Easy, enjoyed the process. Stayed with the company for about three years then moved into another role. Learn a lot of new skills and had growth opportunities. Would suggest interviewing here if looking to move into business.
