Applied online. No online tests to complete just some questions and attach a CV. Was then invited to a online video interview after a few weeks. Around 10 questions. Very specific but a lot of time to read the question before it starts to record. No chance to re-record your answer. Email after a month and no offer. Applied to two placements in different areas and for the other no contact for more than a month and then an email with a rejection.

The interview was included in an assessment centre. The assessment centre began with a group exercise, which helped to ease everyone into the interview. Then there was an individual interview made up of competency based questions and technical questions, as well as the opportunity to talk one on one to the current team managers. The final stage of the assessment centre is a business case presentation, that was pre-prepared. Between each stage there was a break and a chance to talk to current placement students. The assessment centre lasted 3 hours in total.
