I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Pew Charitable Trusts (Washington, DC) in Jun 2018
Interview
First interview was a call with an HR Rep then the following interviews were in person with two senior level employees. Overall, it went well and everyone was very pleasant. Following the interview, the HR Rep reached out to state that the hiring process was put on hold due to budget restrictions and that they'd be reaching back out in the coming months. I did end up hearing back from a different HR Rep a month or two later explaining that an additional Associates position had opened up and would be open for applicants soon. Even after my outreach expressing my interest, said HR Rep seemed unorganized, uninterested, and unprofessional, which effectively turned me off Pew entirely. Based on some of the other reviews from former employees as well as my own experience, the organization as a whole seems very organized and dysfunctional so it's definitely something to take into account if you're thinking of applying.

Interview
One round as a phone screening, very low stress and she said on the spot that I would be moving forward and speaking with the hiring manager. About 45 minute with the hiring manager, we had a great conversation that was very natural and it was clear she herself had a lot of experience and knew how to interview. Was expecting to hear back within 2 weeks and even reached out to the HR person, but heard nothing back. This is my first time ever being ghosted by a company, and with the resources they have, you would think they'd at least respond to an email.
1) phone screening interview- just a short call to make sure I was interested in the position 2) virtual interview with direct manager- one hour to discuss my resume and the job in greater detail 3) virtual interview with 3 people- asking questions about my experience and interest in the role
